A fun 30 – day creative writing prompt journey:

The secret to start writing now

Description

When we first offered this course it was featured on BBC Radio London. We’re excited to now bring a refined and revised version with additional material for 2022 to the Udemy community.

The 30 – Day Creative Writing Prompt Journey is for anyone who would like to start writing straight away with gentle guidance and accountability. It has been designed to fit into your current schedule with ease – even if you have a lot of commitments and would like to add a splash of creativity to your routine.

FEEDBACK FROM ORIGINAL COURSE:

‘found it incredibly freeing and a source of joy.’

You’ll receive lessons on how to work with creative writing prompts effectively and how to get the most out of the course whilst honouring your wellbeing.

This course considers different learning styles and helps students to expand their intuition to choose how they best like to write and what they like to write about.

FEEDBACK FROM ORIGINAL COURSE:

‘My whole class loves it’

By the end of the course you will have generated a wealth of material and will be offered guidance on ways to start crafting that into a creative project in addition to considering how you would like to continue your creative writing journey.

Everything is taken care of for you. All you need to do is set aside five minutes and press play – an easy way to get writing immediately and start your writing projects. The best results arise out of just doing the thing. This course makes it as easy as possible for you to do the writing.

Once you’ve finished the course you’ll be given 30 more writing prompts for you to have fun with as you continue your creative endeavours.

Warning! We suggest carrying around a notebook / voice recorder whilst you’re out and about during the course because you are likely to see an increase in ideas flowing to you simply through the action of taking five minutes on a consistent basis to practice creative writing.

This course is great for people at the beginning of their creative writing journey with a desire to start expressing their ideas and would like some help to do this. People with an established writing practice can also benefit from this course by using the prompts as a warm-up before working on a longer project.

We’re all unique, with something important to say and the world needs as many different voices expressing themselves as possible – whether that be to ourselves, our local community or more publicly. Thank you for taking the time to invest in your own creative and personal development.

We look forward to hearing about your experience of the course and what it sparks for you.

Enjoy!
