Your CNA exam will have two parts: the written exam (you’ll have 90 minutes to complete 60 multiple choice questions) and the clinical skills test. The written part will test your knowledge of nursing concepts, while the clinical skills test requires you to perform several essential nursing tasks in front of an evaluator. Why CNAs are important

Certified Nursing Assistants are vital members of the health care team. Your skills can keep your patients safe and comfortable. Your ability to provide hands-on care means that you may be the first to notice changes in your patients. You have a lot to learn, but we are here to help. Start with the basic skills. Nearly everything builds from there. As you learn, you will become a valuable team member. Remember that health care would not be possible without the CNA.

CNA – A Certified Nursing Assistant is a nurse that helps patients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Also known as a Nursing Assistant (NA) a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or a State Tested Nurse Aid (STNA), the individual who carries this title needs a strong work ethic and ability, but issues of liability and legality prevent CNA’s from performing certain procedures.
